Director of Online Training
HD Forensics
Carrie Bohne Warren received her first degree from the University of London, a BA in Classical Studies and Archaeology. She then pursued a second BA in Biology which she completed at Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2015. During this time, she was living and working in Mexico, Chicago, London and Denver, which led to a very rich and diverse life experience. She was the lead Teaching Assistant for an Advanced Human Cadaver course during her years at Metropolitan State and she also led human cadaver dissections for medical students at SERI, a spinal research institute in Colorado. After graduation, she worked as a Medical Scribe in an emergency room in downtown Denver while applying for graduate programs. Her profound interest in forensics, medicine, archaeology and anthropology led her to the Biological and Forensic Anthropology Master’s program at Mercyhurst University in Erie, Pennsylvania.
Carrie completed her Masters in 2018 and joined Dr. Dirkmaat’s team at HD Forensics as Director of Online Training. She and her husband and daughter have spent the last two years living in Chicago and will be moving to Michigan where her husband will begin his residency as in Emergency Medicine.
